STUDY OF RARE REMEDIES - GRATIOLA (part1)

Female remedy, mostly affecting gastro-intestinal tract. Gastritis, duodenal ulcers, distension, rumbling.
Nervous system; makes person nervously weak. Dissatisfaction, irritated (compare Cham. Nux). Depression of spirits. Tremendous sexual excitability, crave sex which does not satisfy. Nymphomania, then more tired.
Left sided. Ovaritis, neuralgia, renal colic (may confuse with Platina).
A sense of inefficiency - try to cover it up.
Head feels small (opposite Platina - others become smaller).    (Dr.Vithoulkas)

Profuse, gushing, watery or frothy, yellow-green, exhausting stools, then relief (Gamb.).
Nightly emissions, then erections.
Nymphomania.
Coccygeal pain.(Hypericum)
Limb gives way, with sciatic pain.(Dr.Boger)

Nux vomica symptoms in females on account of marked aggravation from coffee and digestive disturbances.

Dr.Burnett considers specific in female masturbation and nymphomania.

STUDY OF RARE REMEDIES - LACTIC ACID (part 1)

Lactic acid is mentioned in Allen's keynotes  atleast three times ( as far as what I read)

1)After : Lactic ac., in vomiting of pregnancy. - PSORINUM

2)Vomiting : violent, with cold sweat; soon as he begins to move; during pregnancy, when Lactic acid fails (Psor.). - TABACUM

3) Morning sickness; profuse salivation, wets the pillow in sleep (Lac. ac.). - MERCURIUS

NUX VOMICA (assorted 1)

1) Think of Sulphur when thinking of Nux vomica and vice versa

2) Loves fats and tolerates them well (Puls. opposite.)

3) Sick headache, commences in the morning, increases through the day, growing milder in the evening; with dimness of vision and sour or bitter vomiting (Kali-B.)

4) Needs coffee to work and alcohol to sleep

5) Nux vomica is independent while Ars alb is dependent

6) Loves nature

7) GRATIOLA is a great remedy for nervous prostration; marked lassitude, with mental and bodily weakness. It is closely related to COFFEA and NUX VOMICA and especially useful for the weakness of will and neuralgic pains in coffee drinkers.
